MUA Power Pout Intense Tint & Balm - Irreplaceable

Hi Beauty Lover,

If you are a regular to my blog you will know that I have a thing for a lip product, especially the crayon type lipstick.  So when I saw that Makeup Academy had brought their own version out and for a bargainous price of £3.00, well it was a no brainer…

There are 6 shades to choose from Rendez Vous, Irreplaceable, Crazy in Love, Runway, Justify and Broken Hearted.

Unfortunately, the stand in my local Superdrugs looked like it had been ransacked so the only shade that was available was Irreplaceable.

MUA Power Pout Colour Intense Tint & Balm are in the similar packaging to the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon’s and Clinique Chubby Sticks, so are great for leaving in your bag without it getting crushed.

The scent and taste of the tint/balm is slightly minty and after a few seconds you get a cooling effect on the lips.  As it’s a tint and balm in one, this is great at hydrating the lips, so you do not need to worry about exfoliating the lips before applying, and it sitting on any areas of dryness. It applies to my lips beautifully without any tugging.

The shade Irreplaceable is a dark cerise pink, and because it has a tint, the colour lasts a good 5/6 hours, but the balm effect does wear off, so you would need to reapply every 2/3 hours (depending on your activity) to keep the hydrating/gloss effect.

I would say it was a medium coverage, but can be applied generously for an opaque finish.

This lip tint is exceptional value, and I would definitely recommend getting them.  I will be getting more!

These can be purchased for £3.00 via the MUA website.

Do you have any of these lip tint’s?, what’s your favourite colour?
